Regarding the global concern for climate change, SDG Group is proud to announce our commitment to energy saving and carbon reduction. We aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 5% annually, achieve a 50% reduction by 2030, and reach carbon neutrality by 2050.
Upon evaluation by the Corporate Carbon Reduction Thermometer (TRIPs), SDG Group’s emission reduction commitments have been confirmed to meet the objectives of the Paris Agreement, ensuring that global warming by the end of the century does not exceed 1.5°C. SDG Group has been awarded the "1.5°C Compliance - Outstanding Performance"(link) accolade in 2024, certifying our efforts. Relevant information can be publicly accessed on the TRIPs platform(link).
As partner inquiries about carbon issues have increased, SDG Group has established the Carbon Footprint Platform. This platform voluntarily discloses product carbon footprint information to meet partner demands and aims to raise awareness among corporate partners about climate change issues, reduce resource waste, and minimize environmental damage. We encourage all partners to join us in sustainable environmental practices. The 2024 SDG Carbon Reduction Action Plan is as follows, and we invite all partners to participate and respond together:
